Lynchburg-Clay Boys CC Team Advances to Regionals

The Lynchburg-Clay boys cross-country team placed second in the Division III Southeast District Meet (District  II) at the University of Rio Grande Saturday afternoon.
   
LC scored a combined 89 points, trailing only Belpre, who finished with a first-place time of 42.
   
Leading LC was senior Noah Stoltz, with a time of 18:35.89 for a sixth-place finish.
   
Also in the Top 20 for the Mustangs was senior Quinn Stoltz in 11th place, with a time of 19:16.69.
   
Other times for the Mustangs were senior Ryan Inman in 26th place with a time of 20:40.06; freshman Brandon McCammon was 38th at 21:25.69; and senior Marc Blankenship was 39th at 21:28.20. Sophomore Christian Inman was 46th (21:52.98).
