members of the Lynchburg-Clay FFA and Student Council volunteered at Hope
Emergency, a local social outreach organization. During the day students
volunteered in both the Christmas shop and food pantry at Hope.
In the Christmas shop, students were able to help many local families find presents and clothes for their children. At the food pantry students assisted clients in selecting food items. Students also helped clients package and carry their items to their cars. One member, Kara Williams, stated that being able to “...volunteer at Hope allows me to help others in their time of need.” The chapter would like to thank Hope Emergency for allowing us to volunteer on a regular basis.
