In June the Lynchburg-Clay FFA Officers cooperated with local farmers to plant the school land lab located at the high school and middle school grounds. The officers had the opportunity to operate the equipment such as: tractor, soybean drill, and combine during this activity. The students assisted with filling the bean drill and operating the equipment under the supervision of: Brock Allen, Bob Johnson, Ed Rhonemus, and Tom Williams. Students learned the about safe operation of the equipment and how the equipment operates throughout the process. The soybeans produced a bountiful harvest of nearly 38 bushels per acre. The Lynchburg-Clay FFA Chapter would like to thank the following individuals and businesses for their assistance with this project: Five Points Implement, Company, Inc.; Holbrook Farms; Crop Production Services of Mowrystown; Mr. Brock Allen; Mr. Bob Johnson; Mr. Larry Dwelly; Mr. Ed Rhonemus; Mr. Tom Williams.
