Lynchburg-Clay Homecoming 2015

Lynchburg-Clay High School held their “Home Sweet Homecoming” game against Whiteoak on Friday, January 23, 2015. Between the reserve and varsity game all previous alumni and previous kings and queens were recognized. Next, the 2015 Homecoming attendants were introduced: freshman attendants Taiyler Marcelino and Logan Simmons; sophomore attendants Samantha Pierson and Michael Heindel; and junior attendants Ali Little and Zach Blankenship. Following the junior attendants, the king and queen senior attendants were introduced. The senior candidates included, queen candidate Samantha Whitenack, escorted by king candidate Jared Truman; queen candidate Mykenzie Reynolds, escorted by king candidate Tristan Wilbanks; queen candidate Keysha Taylor, escorted by king candidate Christian Hutchinson; and queen candidate Taylor Little, escorted by king candidate Dakota Baker. Mackenzie Stevens, the 2014 Homecoming Queen crowned the 2015 Homecoming king, Dakota Baker, and the 2015 Homecoming queen, Samantha Whitenack. The Lynchburg-Clay student council would like to thank Mr. Jim Faust for emceeing the ceremony and Emily Myers for conducting the pep band. In addition, a thank you goes to the Lynchburg-Clay High School student body for donating money to the Wounded Warrior Project as part of the homecoming week activities.
