Hello! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! This year is going to be a little different in Art...unfortunately no more sharing of basic supplies. The following is a list of things you will need to purchase before school starts. (I've reduced the class fee for the year because of this).
Marker set (Crayola)
Colored Pencil set (Crayola for Art I, everyone else may want to pick up Prismacolor if possible)
Pencils (#2 works for Art I, everyone else may want to pick up a small set of drawing pencils)
Cap Erasers/Basic Pink Erasers
Watercolor palette (Crayola-- 8 or 16 color set)
1 Glue stick
1 Fine and 1 Ultra Fine Black Sharpie
Bag/Box to keep all supplies in (Can be a gallon ziploc bag)
Additional Supplies (Optional)
18 inch ruler
Scissors
Paintbrush set
The class fee of $15 will include a sketchbook, paint (tempera, acrylic, oil), canvas, drawing/watercolor paper, chalk/oil pastels, charcoal, clay, glaze and two paint brushes.
Art supply stores (Michaels and Hobby Lobby) offer coupons and discounts on more expensive supplies (Prismacolor pencils) and are worth looking into if you plan on taking multiple years of Art. If you have any additional questions please let me know!
