Lynchburg-Clay FFA Competes in Chapter Job Interview

On
November 5, 2019 45 members of the Lynchburg-Clay FFA Chapter competed in the
Chapter Job Interview Contest. This Career Development Event prepares members
for an actual job interview situation. Members must create their own resumes,
complete an application, complete an interview, write a cover letter, and a
follow up letter. Members that moved on to the Sub-District Job Interview
Contest were Matthew Gossett, Konner Miller, Brayden Eversole, Alana Miller,
Dawson Osborn, Kameron Robinson, Kurt Hamilton, and Hailee Waits. The chapter would like to thank our judges
for their time and sharing their expertise with our members. The judges were:
Miss Tonya Fender, Mr. Tim Hamilton, Miss Whitney Lewis, and Mrs. Amanda Widmeyer.
The
Sub-District Job Interview contest was held on November 7,
2019 at McClain High School. Lynchburg-Clay
FFA members that competed were Matthew Gossett, Konner Miller, Brayden
Eversole, Alana Miller, Dawson Osborn, Kameron Robinson, Kurt Hamilton, and
Hailee Waits. A special thank you to Mrs. Paula Kiser who judged a division on
behalf of our chapter and McClain FFA for hosting the contest. Dawson Osborn earned
2nd place and advanced to compete at the District 9 Job Interview
Contest on November 12th which was held at Central State University.
Dawson earned 5th place at the Districts! Thank you to Mrs. Katrina
Swinehart and Central State University for hosting the District contest.
