Lynchburg-Clay Local Schools has received a waiver from the Ohio Department of Education to expand our meal program during this extended break.  Beginning Monday, March 23^rd the District will be offering meals to ALL children ages 18 and below.  The child does not need to be attending Lynchburg-Clay Schools, nor does the child need to be free or reduced eligible.  Again this will be available to ALL children ages 18 and below.

To assist in our meal planning, we ask that all those that plan on participating fill out a quick online survey at on our website at lclsd.org or call the Board office at 937-364-2338.

The food distribution will occur on the following dates:

* Monday, March 23rd
* Wednesday, March 25th
* Monday, March 30th
* Wednesday, April 1st

DISTRIBUTION WILL OCCUR IN THE LOBBY OF THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FROM 10AM - NOON.

On Mondays, students will receive lunch for Monday, breakfast and lunch for Tuesday, and breakfast for Wednesday. On Wednesday, students will receive lunch for Wednesday, breakfast and lunch for Thursday and Friday, and breakfast for Monday. All meals will be pre-bagged, so distribution should go quickly.

We ask that you limit the number of people that enter the Elementary during these pick-up times.

Again please fill out the online survey or call the Board office as quickly as possible if you plan to participate.  The information collected will only be used for meal planning purposes.

FAQ

Can I pick-up meals for neighbor kids/family member's kids/etc?
* We understand that not everyone will be available to pick up their child's meal packs due to illness, work schedule or other events. You are able to pick up another child's meal packet as long as you give us your name for documentation purposes.

I signed up for food distribution, but no longer need it.

* Please go back to the online survey and complete the section regarding cancelling your child’s food distribution.  This will help us with meal planning.
