M.A.P. Testing
Middle School students have been working on M.A.P. testing.  M.A.P. stands for Measures of Academic Progress.  This test measures the growth that each student makes throughout a year's time.  Students will retake the tests again at the end of the year.  Results will show the progress made throughout the year.

Teachers can use the data to drive instruction throughout the year and make adjustments to accomodate their own strengths and weaknesses.  Lynchburg-Clay has been M.A.P. testing for several years now and can show several data points for each child that has been in out district continually.

2012 Ohio State Testing Results
Results are beginning to come in from the Ohio Achievement Test that our students took in May.  The Middle School results are very good.  The students set the goal of meeting all eight indicators for the very first time.  That goal was met!!  Scores continue in an upward trend.  While there is always room for improvement, gains are continually being made.  Ohio will release the state report cards during the first quarter of this year.  The Middle School will be ranked Excellent for the second year in a row, meeting all indicators and having a Performance Index of over 100.  Our staff and students did a great job.  We will keep working at being.... Champions and Ambassadors.
