LCHS Envirothon Team Places 2nd at State competition

The Lynchburg-Clay High School Envirothon team competed at the 26th Annual State Envirothon Competition June 8-10, 2014 at Salt Fork State Park. In order to advance to the state competition, they had to place in the top four at the district competition held in March. At the state competition, the team placed second out of twenty teams competing and Coach Hamilton was on the first place coaches' team. Team members included left to right: Gabriel Kirsch, Shannon MacLeod, Kirsten Banks, Kelsey Clinton, Hannah Burns, and Coach Lara Hamilton.
