Lynchburg-Clay FFA Chapter Competes at District Parliamentary Procedure Contest

Submitted by: Hailee Waits, FFA Reporter

On November 29, 2018 the Lynchburg-Clay FFA Parliamentary Procedure team competed in the District 9 contest at Fairfield High School. During the contest, the team must take a knowledge test about Robert’s Rules of Order and must perform a demonstration of randomly assigned abilities. The team is given a two-minute prep to prepare their meeting agenda and then must perform 5 assigned abilities correctly. In addition, members must choose an additional ability to perform and debate on the assigned motions and/or abilities during a timed demonstration. The team has practiced countless hours over the past two months to prepare for the competition. Congratulations to the team on their success!
