FFA Participate in Ohio Legislative Leadership Conference

On
September 25, 2019, five Lynchburg-Clay FFA members attended the Ohio
Legislative Leadership Conference at the Ohio State House in Columbus. Members learned
about the legislative process of how a bill becomes a law. They were able to
debate the pros and cons of an issue and present it to other members in hopes
of persuading their views. Members also had the opportunity to meet with
Representative Shane Wilkin and Senator Bob Peterson. Both Wilkin and Peterson
discussed state and local issues with the members. Members that attended the
event included: Alana Miller, Josh Niehaus, Kameron Robinson, Annalyse Warner,
and Austin Wilkin. The members would like to thank Representative Shane Wilkin
and Senator Bob Peterson for taking time out of the day to speak with them.
